Bustin Jieber is a word game played by the following rules:

  • Replace the first letter of the first word with the first letter of the second word.
  • Replace the first letter of the second word with the first letter of the first word.

That is, swap the first letter of the words. It is usually played with pop songs or pop figures, so "Justin Bieber" would be come "Bustin Jieber".

Other examples

  • "Duran Duran" would become "Duran Duran"

“A spoonerism is an error in speech in which corresponding consonants, vowels, or morphemes are switched (see metathesis) between two words in a phrase. These are named after the Oxford don and ordained minister William Archibald Spooner, who was famous for doing this.”

Extensions

Instead of swapping the first letters, swap the first phonograms.

Example

  • Jesus Christ -> Chesus Jrist (instead of Cesus Jhrist)
  • Charlie Bucket -> Barlie Chucket (instead of Bharlie Cucket)
